Shieldcoat will be represented at the 2008 Design Build show in Melbourne between June 15 to 18. Shieldcoat's exhibit this year will be all new consisting of a mock up home built of Foamular polystyrene supplied from Austech. Roof coatings, Driveway coatings, Renders and Textures will be on display along with live demonstrations showing the easy to use textures. Come and see us at Stand H32.

Shieldcoat goes full colour!

Shieldcoat has gone full colour with there new range of product pails. These attractive new pails have full colour, full sized in mould lables that not only look fantastic but also have helpful application instructions, weight logos and basic safety instructions to make them easier for the end user. Of course, the same great Shieldcoat products are inside these new look pails. The new pails are great marketing tools and look excellent on store floors and shelves. Distributors will love them.

Shieldcoat Gold Coast Branch closure with a new Trade Depot opening!

The building complex where our popular Gold Coast Branch operated for many years at Sunlight Drive Burleigh Heads is scheduled for demolition as of Friday the 1st of February 2008.

This has meant a quick shut down of the Shieldcoat branch at Sunlight Drive Burleigh Heads. Shieldcoat management wish to apologise for inconvenience this may have caused, but, also wants to inform you of the new Trade Depot just around the corner that is opening at Unit 2, 29 Dover Drive, Burleigh Heads.

This Trade Depot will be an pick up outlet where you can buy parts, machines and products as you did before at the old branch. Extra deliveries will be available to help service your needs as our valued customers on the Gold Coast and Northern NSW areas.

Allan Lochery will still be your local rep. who can help you with your sales questions, product training and technical help.

Duane Starsmore will be available at the Trade Depot to take orders, arrange for deliveries and to give normal sales assistance.

Shieldcoat has a New Management/Ownership Team!

After more than a decade at the helm of coatings manufacturer Shieldcoat, Managing Director Mark Slater has handed over the reins to a new management and ownership team. Shieldcoat is to remain a family affair to be led by Mark’s son Finn Slater who previously worked for the company in the capacity of Business Planning Manager.

Mark will continue with Shieldcoat in an on-going advisory role, as well as heading research and development. He will also continue to contribute to the coatings industry by providing consultancy services through his Protective Coatings Solutions business.

The change became effective as of November 2007 and Finn Slater will be assisted in his new role by General Manager Kemal Coutinho.

Shieldcoat WA.... in Perth is committed to providing great service with there new Trade Centre and Showroom at Malaga.

The Shieldcoat stand had much interest in the range of products on display at the Austral Bricks HIA trade show held in the Perth at the convention centre.

Trade Applicators and home owners alike were interested in the renders, textures, stencils driveway coatings, roof coatings including the heat reflective coating Thermobond HRC.

Shieldcoat WA has a new office, trade centre and showroom that displays products at 1/71 Berringara Ave, Malaga, Perth.

It's Manager, Tony Selling, is only too willing to offer advice on products, supply applicators and will sell product solutions that suit your requirements.

Shieldcoat releases it's brand new 'Specifier' website August 1st 2007

Shieldcoat is proud to announce it's all new look website with some very useful new features.

Specifiers can now in 4 easy steps specify Shieldcoat products and print a Shieldspec Data Sheet with all the correct products and information needed for the job. There is a need to type in your name and contact number before proceeding as this helps Shieldcoat respond and give assistance where required. Product Information Sheets are also available at a 'click' to view more details about the product and it's finish.

Distributors and Trade Applicators will find this area useful as well as they order products for jobs. In the Specifier area the Shieldspec Data Sheet has an in built calculator which is useful in working out you product requirements, all you need is to enter the area in square metres and the calculator works out how many product packs you need for the job.

Shieldcoat products on display at DesignBuild at Sydney Convention Centre 2007

Shieldcoat exhibited at the recent DesignBuild expo held in Sydney. Eight products manufactured by Shieldcoat from - Roofbond roof paint, Roofbond Flexible Pointing, Concreshield W, Thermobond HRC, Naturatex, Stencilshield, Floorshield, and Watershield A were on display.

Also on display was equipment such as: an Airless Sprayer, a Water Blaster, 2 Whirl-a-way water blaster attachments, 2 Hopper Guns and the new Texmaster Texture Spray. The all new trade display included 16 display panels featuring the finishes and products as well as a 22 inch monitor with a continuous Shieldcoat Presentation. The stand was 6 x 7 metres, had a revolving shield, illuminated Shieldcoat sign and was manned by 6 happy but tired Shieldcoat representatives.

Ridge Traxx was also displayed at the stand. Ridge Traxx is a revolutionary new approved ridge cap anchoring system using Shieldcoat Flexible Pointing but interestingly requires no cement bedding.
