Which coating is best for my driveway, Concreshield or Step Safe?
Both are excellent choices. Concreshield offers a durable, stain-resistant gloss or low sheen finish. For the highest level of safety on steep or frequently wet driveways, we recommend the Step Safe system for its P5 anti-slip rating.
How long until I can park my car on the new coating?
For Concreshield, you must wait at least 5 days for the coating to cure enough for vehicle traffic. For the Step Safe system, we recommend waiting 7-10 days to ensure maximum durability and hardness.
Will the coating lift or peel from hot tyres?
No. Both Concreshield and Step Safe are formulated with superior adhesion and durability to withstand the demands of vehicle traffic, including hot tyres, without peeling or lifting when applied correctly.
My driveway has oil stains. Can I still coat it?
Yes, but surface preparation is crucial. All oil stains, brake dust, and tyre marks must be treated with a quality degreaser and thoroughly pressure cleaned before you begin coating to ensure a strong, lasting bond.
